LDI thermo electric Anti Ice  Systems may be implemented into  or onto a composite or metal structure as an ultra-thin coating layer with high efficiency and without affecting the airplane’s aerodynamical properties.

The system is capable to keep leading edges and other parts permanetly ice free  to the most servere climatic conditions.  LDI coatings were undergoing testing at extreme loads of up to 12 W / cm2 (77 W/in2)  and can be loaded safely electrically depending on requirements to any power. The self regulating feature of the coatings prevents from  hot spots and they keep on wotrking even after damage.
